Field Service Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Providing onsite installation, qualification, upgrades, repairs and preventative maintenance service on next generation sequencers.
• Identifying root causes and resolving product issues in the field.
• Implementing policies for spare parts handling and using CRM software.

Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor Degree with 3+ years relevant experience in engineering, physics, biology, chemistry or related field.
• Experience with NGS sequencing instrument and sequencing run set up preferred.
• Proficient in data collection and analysis tools such as MATLAB, Python, C++ or Java.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base compensation pay range: $90,000 - $110,000.
• Eligible for stock options, discretionary annual bonus, and 401k with company match.

Location & Travel:

• Remote role based in Los Angeles, CA.
• Domestic travel up to 80%.
• May require customer support during non-regular business hours.
