Frontend Foundations Technical Co-Lead

ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Enable Janers with the platforms and tools that allow them to focus on solving the problems unique to their domains.
• Own the systems and standards that every product team at Jane builds on.
• Actively replacing legacy frontend architecture with something modern, scalable, and AI-native.

• Set a clear, documented direction others can confidently follow and build on.
• Elevate frontend observability across both web and mobile, instrumenting and diagnosing complex system behavior so performance, reliability, and developer experience continuously improve.
• Champion AI-native development across the team and beyond: establish best practices, create pathways from experiments to standard practice, and help other teams understand what genuine AI acceleration looks like versus noise.

WHAT EXPERIENCE WE NEED:

• Deep experience with Module Federation, frontend build systems (webpack, rspack), CI tooling, and JavaScript ecosystem standards in large codebases.
• Hands-on experience with React Native in a production environment, ideally including shared design system or tooling work across web and mobile.
• Strong AI fluency, not just in your own workflow but in building tools and workflows that help others.
