Cloud Infrastructure Architect (AWS)

About the Role:

• Define and shape the cloud foundation supporting a large-scale federal enterprise data platform modernization initiative.
• Architect secure, scalable, and highly available AWS environments enabling mission-critical data and analytics workloads.
• Combine deep technical architecture expertise with hands-on design leadership across networking, infrastructure resilience, and platform optimization.

Accountabilities:

• Design and oversee AWS cloud infrastructure architecture supporting enterprise-scale data platform modernization and operations.
• Define and implement network architecture using VPCs, subnets, routing strategies, security groups, PrivateLink, and related AWS networking components.
• Architect and support high availability, disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity solutions for mission-critical systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, systems engineering, or platform architecture roles.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience designing and supporting AWS cloud environments.
