Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, edit and maintain SOPs, desk guides, process maps, templates, checklists, decision trees, reference materials and other program resources.
- Translate statutes, policies, Government direction and subject matter expert input into clear, concise and actionable operational guidance.
- Create and maintain a logically organized digital resource repository with naming conventions, metadata, version control and archival practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, communications, technical writing, public policy, business, healthcare administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of professional technical writing, editing, process documentation or knowledge-management experience.
- Demonstrated experience developing SOPs, manuals, guides, templates, process maps and other controlled operational documentation.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience writing for VA, VHA or another federal agency.
- Experience documenting eligibility, compliance, audit, credentialing, recognition or case-management processes.
- Familiarity with Section 508 accessibility, plain-language standards and federal document conventions.
