Paralegal I

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently locate and retrieve relevant case law, statutes, and regulations using legal research tools and databases.
• Efficiently manage legal documents, deadlines, and electronically stored information during litigation using case management and e-discovery tools.
• Under moderate guidance, carefully evaluate the impact of legal matters by identifying potential risks.

Qualifications:

• Requires paralegal certificate or 2 years of non-clerical litigation experience under the direction of an attorney.
• Ability to perform thorough legal research using advanced techniques, independently draft legal documents including motions and assist with analysis on complex matters.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate effectively with attorneys, clients, policyholders, and judges.
