Job Description

The Sales and Business Development Account Executive will develop and execute Sales and Business Development Strategies for Telesat Lightspeed LEO Services and Solutions in the Sub-Saharan Africa region. Main Responsibilities: Collaborate and team with Telesat’s Global Account Sales team by offering additional sales and business development support for existing GEO customers. Evangelize Telesat Lightspeed in the market, create interest for Telesat LEO at decision making level (C-suite, technology/planning heads), influence long-term network strategy and connectivity requirements of prospects Build sales and distribution channel partnerships in the Sub-Saharan Africa region Responsible for developing and executing a business plan for all in the Sub-Saharan Africa region: i.e. MNOs, Large and Small Telcos, WISPs, Service Providers, and Large Enterprise customers. This includes closing agreements with customers for future services. Pipeline and account planning Responsible for alignment of activities and objectives across virtual teams including solution engineering, product and sales operations
