Front End Web Developer

Front End Development and Site Ownership:

• Own all updates and maintenance for Wix and custom sites, including front-end edits and content updates.
• Build custom landing pages using HTML/CSS and Shopify sections, ensuring on-brand and functional pages.
• Serve as internal support alongside external agency, handling quick fixes and tracking tasks.

Site QC and Monitoring:

• Conduct regular quality checks across all web properties to identify broken links, display errors, and layout issues.
• Monitor site performance and surface improvement opportunities to the Ecommerce Manager.
• Perform cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure consistent user experience.

ADA and Accessibility:

• Implement front-end accessibility fixes in line with WCAG 2.1 AA standards, including color contrast and keyboard navigation.
• Audit pages for compliance and prioritize remediation in coordination with the Ecommerce Manager.
• Stay current on ADA compliance requirements for ecommerce websites.

Shopify Admin and Content Operations:

• Edit products in Shopify & Salsify, including descriptions, images, and meta fields.
• Build and manage collection pages, create blog content, and make layout adjustments using theme customizer.
• Customize transactional notification emails and maintain accuracy across all product entries.
