Job Description
The Director Audit Credit and Consumer is responsible for carrying out audit planning, fieldwork and reporting of assurance and advisory engagements, communicating observations and recommendations to senior management, coaching staff, and staying current on risks and controls specific to set portfolio of responsibilities. This position brings expertise in risk management and regulatory compliance for large financial institutions, including heightened standards. In addition, the duties of an Audit Director will require execution of the internal audit department strategy, ability to work as an individual contributor and meet department metrics for assigned engagements.
Key Responsibilities include leading audit engagements over Credit Risk Management, Consumer Lending processes, Consumer Loan Quality Control and Commercial Loan Review functions. Identify risks and controls in business processes and prepare written audit reports.
