Job Summary:
- Oversee and coordinate inpatient coding operations within the Coding Service Center.
- Ensure efficient personnel management, workflow optimization, and high-quality standards.
- Promote standardization of coding practices across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor Discharged Not Billed (DNB) reports and timely filing to support financial health.
- Act as the primary point of contact for coding and billing problem resolution.
- Partner with Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) to enhance physician documentation.
Requirements:
- Associate degree or equivalent experience with 3-5 years of coding experience in acute care.
- Two to three years of supervisory experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Comprehensive knowledge of ICD-10-CM, ICD-10 PCS, and 3M Encoder.
