Transfer Agency Operations Specialist

About the Role:

• Execute day-to-day operations of a U.S. stock transfer agency — transaction processing, KYC/KYB, shareholder support, and compliance reporting.
• Work under the Operations Lead as part of the India Operations team, with a builder-of-execution mindset.
• Precision, escalation judgment, and SOP discipline are paramount; process ownership grows over time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process transfers, issuances, and DTC activity (DWAC, DRS, FAST) under maker-checker controls and resolve reconciliation items same-day.
• Review KYC/KYB documentation, triage false positives, and escalate OFAC/sanctions matches immediately.
• Handle shareholder and issuer support via queue, email, and phone; support SEC compliance reporting and corporate actions.

Requirements:

• 3+ years in securities or transfer agency operations at an RTA, global transfer agent, asset manager, or bank securities-services center.
• Strong data skills with Excel/Sheets and ability to handle unfamiliar file formats; confident user of AI assistants like Claude.
• High integrity, meticulous attention to detail, and reliability against hard cutoffs working U.S. Eastern Time hours.
