Contract Manager (Subject Matter Expert – Program Implementation)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Contractor's primary contract manager, formulating and enforcing work standards.
• Manage all contractor on-boarding activities and coordinate the orientation of new contract staff.
• Act as the principal point of contact for contract-related issues.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of 20 years of relevant experience with a BS degree; OR 15 years of program management experience with an MS degree; OR 5 years of VA program management experience combined with 15 years of total relevant experience.
• Demonstrated experience working within VA, VHA, or federal healthcare agency environments, with a strong understanding of federal contracting structures, COR/CO relationships, and government program management frameworks.
• Active Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification issued by PMI is required at time of application; certification must remain current throughout the period of performance.
