Business Development Specialist

The Business Development Specialist will be responsible for extensive outreach to universities, central libraries, media outlets, PR platforms, and influential blog sites. The role focuses on driving user awareness programs and delivering platform walkthroughs to position our brand as a trusted resource, ensuring the platform is featured and linked on high-authority library, educational, and media sites. Responsibilities include: Strategic Outreach & Relationship Management--Identify and connect with decision-makers at universities, libraries, PR contacts, journalists, and blog network managers. Design and deliver engaging user awareness workshops and platform demonstrations tailored to library staff, students, faculty, and content creators. Benchmark competitors and identify strategic opportunities to differentiate our brand. Track outreach performance, feature placements, backlink acquisition, user engagement from awareness programs, and competitive positioning.
