Volunteer Coordinator (Remote)

Position Summary:

• Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive volunteer service program.
• Ensures volunteer services are integrated into the plan of care and the hospice meets Medicare requirements.
• Collaborates within an interdisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recruit qualified volunteers who align with organizational values.
• Maintain an effective volunteer training and orientation program, ensuring timely onboarding.
• Assign volunteers to appropriate roles, aligning with their skills and interests.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Provide supervision to volunteers, offering support, guidance, and feedback.
• Ensure volunteers complete and submit time sheets and visit notes as per policy.
• Review volunteer visit notes to ensure adherence to the patient's care plan.
