Volume Capture TD

Responsibilities:

• Integrate acquired data into Houdini TOPs networks and build SOP networks to manipulate, analyze, and render the data.
• Design and author complex Houdini TOPs networks to support scalable workflows and develop custom processors using Houdini's native Python modules.
• Partner with software development leads and pipeline teams to align on cross-department initiatives and scheduling.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as an FX artist using Houdini in production and 5+ years writing Houdini pipeline code in Python.
• Strong understanding of Houdini, Solaris/USD, and Hydra render delegates, with experience in PDG/TOPs and building groom pipelines.
• Familiarity with volumetric capture and virtual production, working knowledge of Python scripting in Nuke, and experience in a Pipeline or Production department.
