Job Description
Sutherland is seeking a Senior Network Engineer with a strong understanding of Cisco Switching, Routing, and the TCP/IP Stack to analyze, monitor, troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade network devices. This role involves designing and implementing large-scale network Security solutions across various environments and integrating automation to improve project efficiency. The engineer will work with clients to understand their requirements and develop innovative solutions, create repeatable processes, and work with Engineering teams to define detailed Engineering requirements. Responsibilities include responding to alerts, troubleshooting network problems, installing and managing firewalls, maintaining border security systems, and contributing to the development of new solutions to improve resilience of the current environment. They will also oversee network capacity and performance, plan and deploy network upgrades, and carry out security measures to minimize risk, ensuring the network systems are available, reliable, and efficiently operating.
