As the Engineering Manager for the Developer Experience team, you will lead one to two cross-functional teams of Backend Engineers and Software Engineers in Test, driving improvements to the efficiency, reliability, and overall experience of our internal development workflows. The Developer Experience (DevEx) team is focused on transforming GitLab’s internal development workflows by equipping engineers with the right tools, tests, and interfaces to build and ship high-quality changes efficiently.

Minimum 11 -12 years of experience in application support is required. This role involves leading mid-sized teams and requires knowledge of DEVOPS methodologies and CD/CI. The candidate should be customer-focused, goal-oriented, and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, along with good verbal/written communication skills. Good knowledge of IIS troubleshooting & ability to read the event viewer logs from Windows server is needed.
