Electrical Factory Inspector duties and responsibilities include supporting department objectives and company goals, being a team player, and sustaining a positive, enthusiastic and professional attitude. You will perform surveillance inspections of factories to assure products remain in compliance with conditions of granted certification and other duties assigned by management.

Responsible for customer relationship management through the effective use of technical knowledge to install, troubleshoot, service, and maintain equipment at customer sites. Provide exceptional customer service by adhering to customer entitlements, setting clear expectations, and meeting commitments to address and resolve customer needs. Travel across the specified geography is required.

Commissions, troubleshoots, repairs, and analyzes SMA America’s utility inverters in the field via email, telephone, and site visits. Develops a detailed knowledge of SMA’s utility inverter products and accessories. Regularly works with high voltage DC electricity and three phase power. Maintains a high level of customer satisfaction while striving to lower the costs of field service.
