The Claims Technical Director will focus on TPA WC oversight for Claims in a Captive and Programs business, reviewing and providing direction on reserve and settlement authority, where required, on complex, specialized claims and high exposure claims, primarily auto and general liability. The role supports the business partner through communication about specific claims and identification of claim trends.
This position provides oversight of Third Party Administrators in the handling of General Liability, Construction, Excess, Medical Malpractice and Trucking related claims. The candidate will evaluate coverage issues and risk transfer opportunities as well as ensuring appropriate investigations of the underlying facts and circumstances is carried out. This position reports to a line of Business Director.
