Be the strategic and operational cornerstone for Quartzy's customers, providing seamless purchasing services for life science organizations, requires a blend of scientific understanding, procurement expertise, and a passion for customer advocacy, handling purchasing from start to finish for multiple R&D labs and actively source products, compare vendor pricing, and find deals to ensure labs' budgets are maximized.
A detail-obsessed coordinator is needed to run day-to-day purchasing and order administration. You'll create and track purchase orders (POs), enter customer sales orders into our system, coordinate purchasing with manufacturers, and issue invoices—accurately, on time, every day. This is a back-office, operations role that requires real-time availability during U.S. business hours and close collaboration with our internal team.
