Responsible for the implementation and management of programs that oversee the Operation, Preventive Maintenance, Reactive Repair and Replacement of mechanical, electrical, control systems, plumbing, HVAC systems and other building mechanical systems. Ensure all mechanical assets for up to 35-40 buildings across the U.S. are properly maintained, repaired and managed in CMMS. Serves as HVAC/mechanical subject matter expert and advises account leadership, facilities managers, HVAC technicians and Commercial Maintenance Technicians on appropriate steps to maintain and repair assets.

Install and provide on-demand/scheduled service and training for all general-purpose equipment. Requires daily travel by auto with frequent overnight stays; daily drive time is usually from 1 to 6 hours. Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment breakdowns involving mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and electronic functions.

The Field Service Technician will be considered a specialist for a product line that the BID service team supports. This level technician will demonstrate a full working knowledge of a product line including theory of operation as well as the mechanics. They will provide solutions to complex problems as well as provide field and/or remote support to technicians.
