Provide whole-person care to people struggling with addiction, including treatment of substance use disorders in our opioid use disorder (OUD) and alcohol use disorder (AUD) programs, providing medication-assisted treatment in collaboration with our behavioral health team. Through our Responsive Care services, you will provide comprehensive medical and mental health services to our members, similar in scope to urgent and primary care services. Your work is essential to the members and your constant feedback will be expected to help them have the best outcome possible.

The General Practitioner leads the delivery of primary healthcare services to immigration detainees within detention centres. The position requires a strong foundation in general practice and primary healthcare, along with specialised knowledge of the unique health needs within the detention environment, such as mental health and substance use. A key responsibility is clinical supervision and serving as the primary escalation point for health staff.
