Educate Walden University Students by effectively and proficiently using online technology and resources so that knowledge, information, feedback, and critique are imparted to and shared with students in thoughtful, carefully formulated, well written, and timely communications. Faculty Members are expected to adhere to all Walden University Faculty expectations.

A faculty member at the rank of Assistant Professor demonstrates significant leadership within the University. Activities include chairing committees, gathering data for program review, and serving as a content expert for assigned courses. They will lead course introductions, participate in course development, and analyze student feedback to improve course content. They will monitor student progress and develop training content for instructors.

Under supervision of the Dean of General Education, the adjunct instructor provides a learning experience in the classroom, online, and/or in the lab. They will use a variety of teaching methods. They will keep students engaged in a classroom environment while following an established curriculum/syllabus. Also, create positive educational climate for students to learn in while establishing and communicating clear objectives for all learning activities.
