This position is primarily responsible for conducting in-service jurisdictional inspections of boilers and pressure vessels located mainly in the Baltimore, MD area. The Boiler Inspector learns and develops the skills required to manage, inspect, evaluate, and consult with Clients within the requirements of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code.

Evaluate the integrity and reliability of equipment, identify hazards and deficiencies to deliver focused risk improvement solutions and reduce equipment risk. Prepare engineering reports, loss expectancies to support risk improvement, and collaborate with various teams on engineering recommendations. This field-based role requires travel to client sites to evaluate operations and systems, with expected overnight travel from 50 to 100 nights per year.
