The Identity & Access Management team’s goal is to support a ‘one customer identity’ vision by providing tools, processes, and expertise for engineering teams to create a unified access management experience while simplifying and standardizing engineering patterns. The initial focus of this role is to unify tooling and processes for customer identity, design patterns for integration credential management and IAM related to cloud components.

Help build the future of secure and easy to manage access at GitLab, playing a key role in implementing authentication strategies and improving access management. This involves building new authentication mechanisms such as support for Passkeys and passwordless authentication while helping keep GitLab and its customers secure by robust access management tooling.
