Build intelligent AI systems that power the mission to make insurance and financial services easier to access for millions across Southeast Asia. Work with product, data, and engineering teams to define ML goals and technical strategies. Design, build, and deploy machine learning models that power personalization, automation, and insight generation.

Contribute to designing, building, evaluating, shipping, and improving Sword’s products through hands-on AI/ML development. You will develop and maintain data processing pipelines for getting the data required to build and evaluate models as well as share your knowledge and experience of how to build ML systems.

Design and implement scalable ML and deep learning models using PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, and other modern frameworks. Build and optimize RAG pipelines using models like GPT, Claude, or other LLMs integrated with document retrieval systems. Develop production-ready ML applications in cloud environments (AWS, SageMaker, Databricks, etc.).

This year the Content Management & Distribution team is on a mission to revolutionise their content management experience using AI. As the first MLE in the team you will lay the technical foundations for our ML stack, set coding and experimentation standards, and deliver high‑impact models that power content discovery and personalisation across Canva.
