Join us as a Backend Software Engineer on the Gateway team and shape its future by building the software stack that drives it. In this role, you will design and develop core functionalities, iterate quickly based on feedback from our developer community, and write clear documentation and examples. You will work with Golang and Python to tackle complex technical problems.

This is not a role for pointing out what needs to be done. It’s for someone who’s ready to do it. Own security across the stack—applications, services, infrastructure, and developer workflows. Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks in both infrastructure and application codebases. Lead secure code reviews, architecture discussions, and threat modeling sessions.

Join LiveKit as a Developer Advocate, a role focused on empowering developers and bridging the gap between their technology and its users. You will foster the developer community, create technical content, and represent the developer voice within LiveKit. Assist developers with LiveKit implementation, deliver presentations, and collaborate with marketing to expand reach in the developer ecosystem, directly impacting product direction and community growth.
