It is a fully remote, volunteer-driven project building a diverse editorial community of writers, editors, researchers, and content professionals committed to producing high-quality, long-form cultural content.

Section Editor

  • Develop the editorial identity and content for a specific section, identifying relevant topics, scenes, and cultural phenomena.
  • Evaluate and assign pitches, work with writers on structure and development, and edit articles, essays, and interviews for depth and context.
  • Coordinate with the Managing Editor to organize deadlines and production flow, and maintain a long-term vision for the section.
