Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day operations of the Histology department, including staffing, training, and workflow.
- Ensure accurate and timely performance of laboratory tests, maintaining compliance with CLIA, CAP, and state regulations.
- Monitor quality control, resolve production errors, and engage in continuous process improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with active ASCP certification (HT or HLT).
- 4+ years of histology laboratory experience and 2+ years supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of CLIA, CAP, and lab operations, with proficiency in Laboratory Information Systems and Microsoft Office.
