Position Summary:
- Ultragenyx is seeking an accomplished medical affairs leader with deep scientific knowledge and strong business acumen to lead the LC-FAOD and MPS franchises for the US region.
- This role is remote, with occasional travel to offices or other locations as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive US data generation activities aligned to the integrated evidence plan and provide medical leadership for evidence dissemination.
- Lead US conference strategy, including delivery of scientific education symposia to advance HCP knowledge.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and compliant communication of scientific data.
Qualifications:
- MD with specialty training in metabolic genetics and rare disease expertise, or PhD with substantial relevant experience.
- At least five years of pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry experience in US medical affairs.
- Proven leadership skills with ability to navigate ambiguity and drive alignment on complex initiatives.
