Job Summary:
- Review and resolve hospital-based claim edits for both inpatient and outpatient services.
- Provide education on claim edits to hospital coders through learning sessions and written guides.
- Facilitate training and support based on analysis of coder-specific trends.
Responsibilities:
- Support management, internal coding, and billing departments.
- Provide education to hospital coders.
- Facilitate training, education, and support to hospital coders.
Requirements:
- HS Diploma/GED
- CPC, CCS, CCS-P, RHIT, or RHIA certification required.
- Experience in coding and claims editing.
