Responsibilities:
- Perform designated abstracting and coding functions in a multi-specialty setting.
- Assign diagnostic and procedure codes to outpatient and/or inpatient records.
- Maintain timeliness, productivity, and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Coding certification required; RHIA certification preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of outpatient coding experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and 3M Coding Software.
