Job Description

As the Midwest Regional Sales Manager, you will be the liaison between customers and FLIR, ensuring that a technical solution is rapidly identified, demonstrated, and quoted. This involves engineers and scientists solving problems with high-performance infrared systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical field sales and managing/growing a US regional territory. Responsibilities include meeting/exceeding a defined sales target for the Midwest territory, developing and implementing sales plans, scheduling travel for customer visits and field events, prospecting for new sales opportunities, managing opportunity pipelines in CRM, and identifying/developing relationships with key contacts. The position requires traveling throughout the territory to meet customers, interpret requirements, identify system configurations, and demonstrate the system onsite.
