About the Role:
- Serve as the strategic lead for our data and content legal function.
- Directly responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial data and content contracts.
- Develop and manage a small team to scale the department's output.
What You'll Do:
- Draft, negotiate, and review various agreements relating to data acquisition and distribution.
- Advise internal stakeholders on data and content matters including use rights/restrictions and regulatory compliance.
- Partner closely with the Content team in acquisition and distribution of data and content, developing policies.
Who You Are:
- J.D. from an ABA accredited law school and admission to a state bar.
- 8+ years' experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating content/data agreements.
- Superior business acumen and commitment to responsive client service.
