Job Description

The Sales Development Representative creates the first stage relationships with prospects at some of the largest school districts in the country. The goal is to educate prospects on HopSkipDrive’s service and schedule meetings for them to speak with Account Executives. The Sales Development Team is the engine that drives HopSkipDrive’s growth. The role involves researching and evaluating prospective leads, establishing rapport with potential prospects, using a consultative sales approach, cold calling and emailing leads, and utilizing Salesforce CRM to manage the sales funnel. The person will qualify leads and assign them to an Account Executive, meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly goals. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills, empathy, and curiosity. They should have experience handling objections and be collaboration-focused with a strong desire for professional growth. Experience with Salesforce and in sales or education is a plus. Strong time management skills and proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office are required.
