Senior Counsel, Corporate

The Team:

• Corporate legal team of more than nine attorneys and paraprofessionals.
• Supporting a wide range of matters including M&A, corporate governance, and securities compliance.
• Critical role in supporting Kraken as it scales and prepares for life as a public company.

The Opportunity:

• Lead and support legal work for corporate development activities.
• Partner closely with the Head of M&A legal and senior leadership to drive execution of the firm’s global M&A strategy.
• Support Kraken's growing corporate governance needs as the company prepares for potential public company status.

Skills You Should Hold:

• 6+ years of relevant legal experience with a focus on mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters.
• Strong background in corporate governance.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.

Nice to Haves:

• Passion for or demonstrated interest in the crypto, fintech, or digital asset industry.
• Familiarity with public company and SEC reporting requirements.
• Experience advising regulated financial services or technology companies.
