Job Description
The Solution Consultant is a technical consultant responsible for developing and positioning product-specific solutions during sales cycles, with the goal of achieving quarterly and annual sales targets within a defined territory and industry vertical. The role involves serving as a subject matter expert in IT Asset Management (ITAM), including hardware and software asset management, and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) for ServiceNow.
Key responsibilities include aligning with Product Management and Engineering, advocating for product enhancements, and relaying field feedback. The consultant creates and manages programs to enable Solution Consultants and Sellers to showcase the value of ITAM and EAM, and generates pipeline within the United States through webinars and in-person events.
The role also entails assisting sales in qualifying customer needs, performing business value assessments, demonstrating solutions to prospects and customers, responding to RFIs/RFPs, scoping and delivering Proof of Concept engagements, and supporting marketing events. Staying current on competitive analysis to effectively position ServiceNow solutions and understanding business and technical problems are essential aspects of the job.
