Position Summary:
- Contact insurance companies to obtain eligibility information.
- Perform benefit investigations and check prior authorization status.
- Contact patients and/or providers to evaluate program eligibility.
Job Responsibilities:
- Answer inbound calls and assist customers.
- Provide prior authorizations and appeals support.
- Assist patients with enrollment in copay assistance programs.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum one year experience in medical billing or related experience.
- Must be computer savvy with MS Office skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Some College.
- Bilingual Spanish - English.
- Previous experience in Patient Support Services (Hub).
