Tier 2 NOC Technician

Peraton is seeking a Tier 2 Network Operations Center (NOC) Technician to join their team of qualified, diverse individuals. This role supports the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Datacenter Consolidation and Cloud Optimization (DCCO) program, providing IT Monitoring and Service Desk support. The NOC operates continuously (24x7x365), offering Tier 2 System Administration Monitoring and Support and acts as a single point of contact for end users needing technical assistance. The Tier 2 NOC Technician maintains and improves customer satisfaction by troubleshooting and identifying routine issues, along with maintaining integrated hardware and software solutions. They provide user and system administrator support, assist other systems support personnel, and support continuous, proactive network performance monitoring to optimize network assets and ensure a stable, secure infrastructure. The role involves identifying, isolating, and resolving network hardware or enterprise application problems, and performing system patching and compliance activities. The position will be telework requiring a professional, distraction-free environment.
