Role Overview:
- Ensure participant medical records are accurate, complete, and accessible across care settings.
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA, CMS, and organizational standards.
- Serve as primary point of contact for internal and external record-related inquiries.
Core Responsibilities:
- Organize, maintain, and update participant medical records in the EHR system.
- Process and manage medical records requests with external providers.
- Support care transitions by ensuring records are available for enrollment, discharges, and specialty visits.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or higher in Health Information Management or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Two or more years of experience in medical records, health information management, or healthcare administration.
- Experience with EHR systems; Epic preferred.
