Roo is seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager to drive market expansion and operational excellence. The BDM will identify new acquisition opportunities, support strategic initiatives, and develop sales tactics to enhance market growth and stability. This role requires adaptability, a proactive approach, and a positive attitude.
The BDM will develop and execute strategic plans for new user growth, create and maintain a detailed business plan, attract and onboard new veterinarians to the Roo platform, and manage sales pipeline efficiently. They will also lead user recruitment events, ensure user engagement and satisfaction, and provide targeted guidance to Roo users.
The candidate should have 3+ years of field/remote sales experience, preferably in veterinary healthcare or a startup. They should have a self-starter mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to build relationships. Proficiency with Google modalities and CMS is also required. The base compensation range is $85,000 - $120,000 depending on exact location.
