Staff Software Engineer, Backend - Consumer Product Group

Lead and grow a team of 7-8 engineers to deliver features specific to the AMER markets. Manage individual projects priorities, deadlines and deliverables with your technical expertise while mentoring team members on design techniques and coding standards. Deep dive into Coinbase system to provide solution on launching features. Define and execute on a roadmap from opportunities raised by your team and stakeholders. Use Coinbase and competitors apps to identify gaps in the current experience for your market. Work closely with Country manager, Product managers, UX designers, Customer support, and senior leadership to identify feature opportunities. Raise customer experience problems/gaps and drive solutions. Oversee design of scalable, reliable, and reusable solutions that other teams can benefit from. Show bias for action, and data-driven decisions to experiment new solutions as fast as possible. Add positive energy in every meeting, and make your coworkers feel included in every interaction.
