Irish Linguist

The Irish Linguist performs quality control tasks, and on-demand translation tasks on assigned accounts/projects; ensures that the work is performed at a satisfactorily high standard within the specified deadlines and quality level; ensures that the Language Process is being followed by the project team. The responsibilities for this role include: Performing copy-edit tasks on assigned projects or accounts on Gaelic, performing on-demand translation tasks, performing linguistic adaptation tasks into en-GB, performing lead support on assigned projects or accounts, managing and maintaining language materials, ensuring good interaction among team members, testing and qualifying new freelancers and vendors, developing and training of internal linguists, interacting with clients on linguistic matters, and participating in the development of new and improved working processes.
