Senior Software Engineer

Role and Responsibilities:

• Support projects from conception to completion, including plan formulation, creation, maintenance, and upgrades across the technology stack.
• Contribute to core features of the Vetcove platform to create intuitive and innovative products for users' daily success.
• Work on a real-time analytics platform, a dynamic advertising platform, and a mobile shopping experience.

Team and Environment:

• Work in a fully remote environment within the USA, offering flexibility while staying connected to a fast-moving, collaborative team.
• Have a holistic view of Vetcove and work on many areas of the technology stack that facilitates billions of dollars in orders annually.
• Handle large-scale infrastructure challenges and work closely with end users as the company rapidly expands its offerings.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Possess 2+ years of professional software engineering experience, preferably building web applications, with a Bachelor's Degree ideally in Computer Science.
• Demonstrate high proficiency in at least one industry-common language and experience building a production application in a modern web framework.
• Exhibit fluency with JavaScript, good software testing habits, excellent communication skills, and a positive team mentality, with startup experience being a plus.
