Staff Product Engineer - Backend (Revenue Engineering, Stripe)

About the Role:

• This is a high-impact backend engineering role at the intersection of payments, distributed systems, and product reliability.
• You will take ownership of critical revenue infrastructure, designing systems that power accurate usage tracking and billing at scale.
• You will influence technical direction, establish architectural standards, and shape systems that directly impact customer trust.

Key Accountabilities:

• Own and evolve metering infrastructure to process billable events without delays, inconsistencies, or data loss.
• Expand payment platform integrations including subscription management, usage reporting, invoice workflows, and webhook handling.
• Build cloud marketplace integrations and customer-facing usage dashboards for visibility into consumption and cost trends.

What We're Looking For:

• 6+ years of backend engineering experience with significant ownership of production billing, payments, or metering systems.
• Strong proficiency in backend development, with experience in Go or Java considered a strong advantage.
• A product-oriented mindset and ability to understand how technical decisions influence customer trust and business outcomes.
