Job Description
The Senior Director, Clinical Business Development, is responsible for planning and directing all of the marketing and sales activities of the company for an assigned area of responsibility and/or region. Essential functions include designing and implementing a sales plan to secure new business from biotech and pharmaceutical companies, identifying leads, qualifying sponsors in oncology, rare disease, neurology, and central nervous system, and securing RFPs. This role also involves strategically coordinating the Leadership Team to bring in new business, representing the company at trade shows, and working with Marketing to design a supportive marketing program.
The Senior Director will also play a role in developing and maintaining relationships with partner organizations, updating Salesforce, and providing feedback to the Leadership Team on pricing and market conditions. Maintaining close contact with key Sponsor personnel to ensure client expectations are met is also a critical aspect of the role. This position requires routinely meeting with the Vice President of Clinical Business Solutions to ensure consistent messaging and a clear action path for opportunities.
