About this role:
- As an Airflow Reliability Engineer on the Customer Reliability Engineering team, you will become an Apache Airflow expert.
- You'll provide expertise to customers to help them make the best use of our managed Airflow service.
What you get to do:
- Solve challenging Airflow problems, from optimizing configuration to identifying world-first bugs.
- Spend up to 20% of your time on side projects, such as contributing to the open-source Airflow repository.
- Work directly with customers' data engineers, system admins, DevOps teams, and management.
What you bring to the role:
- Data Engineering background with 4+ years of Python experience.
- 1 year of experience in Airflow administration and DAG creation.
- Experience with Kubernetes/Docker/Containers and major cloud providers.
