About the Role:
- Build and lead a dedicated Incident Operations function, managing the most critical incidents across a distributed technology environment.
- Recruit, develop, and certify Incident Commanders, maintaining a 24x7 follow-the-sun rotation across APAC, EMEA, and AMER.
Accountabilities:
- Own the incident severity model, escalation paths, and response thresholds, ensuring they reflect financial and regulatory materiality.
- Lead post-incident retrospectives, track follow-up actions, and drive improvements in operational reliability.
AI and Automation:
- Lead an AI-driven roadmap for incident management, including automated timeline generation and RCA drafting.
- Define boundaries for AI autonomy, ensuring human judgment remains central in high-pressure decisions.
Requirements and Benefits:
- 5+ years in production engineering, SRE, or technical operations with hands-on incident command experience.
