Job Description
The Senior Development Manager serves a critical member of the institutional development team and will work to grow KIND partnerships institutional funders. They will manage a portfolio of 65-75 current and prospective donors, with a focus on foundations, corporations, and city and state government agencies. They will be responsible for building a pipeline of potential funding opportunities, cultivating new donors, stewarding existing funders, and managing grants for assigned program areas. The incumbent will have excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills that enable effective relationships both internally and externally. The incumbent will also have experience managing grants and building a pipeline of funding opportunities and attention to detail to ensure compliance and funder responsiveness is also required.
