About the Role:
- The Benefits Consultant is responsible for ongoing customer strategy, service, and retention.
- This includes assessing customer needs and managing relationships with insurance carrier and general agent partners.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute the annual customer account plan specific for all assigned customers.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices and regulatory changes, and support education and enablement of customers regarding these developments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and support business development and operational improvement opportunities.
Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years of benefits consulting experience, with a primary focus on managing complex client accounts across diverse market segments.
- Demonstrated expertise in various funding mechanisms and deep knowledge of large-group regulatory compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
