Patient Fin Clearance Rep

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect and update patient demographic and insurance plan information using multiple systems and web-based tools.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits, calculate out-of-pocket liability, and collect required payments prior to service.
• Secure PCP referrals and prior authorizations, coordinate peer-to-peer reviews, and prepare forms for third-party payers.

Qualifications:

• Minimum three years of health care experience with commercial, managed care, or governmental insurance plans.
• One year of experience in insurance authorization and referral requirements, or medical billing.
• Strong customer service skills and a patient-centered focus; high school diploma or equivalent required.
